Take-Home Test

Reflection on the class of SKI 3013

In this class, we are further learning the next ICT tools. Two of them are Prezi and Plickers.

Prezi
Prezi is an online presentation tools. It is more engaging, persuasive, and effective than PowerPoint. Instead of using slides, Prezi has one large canvas that allow presentation moves around on, zooming in and out to view various frame. Prezi can different from PowerPoint as its presentation is Non Linear. Where a story presented to the audience with multiple paths from points to points.

And I'm take today's peer teaching for this part. The following link is the Perzi presentation done to show the ways for the students.

Prezi help us a lot to layout our ideas and present in attractive ways. Thus, even we can convert PowerPoint to Prezi form too.



Plickers
Plickers are a kind of question creating platform too. But it's different from Quizziz and Kahoot.
Plickers are used by teacher to create questions and students only need to hold the card formed according to their class number. Plickers is a free, interactive tech tool that uses printable “paper clickers” instead of clicker devices. Each student is assigned a unique Plickers card that has a black and white image similar to a QR code. Plickers is a terrific formative assessment tool, but it can be used for much more than assessment.

As teacher, I can insert and apply this tool to create Chemistry questions as such attractive ways to teach Chemistry also, because this way can attract students attention and increasing their interest in studying Chemistry.


Teaching philosophy

Teaching philosophy: Teaching Never Give Up, Learning Never Stop. Education is a chance for everyone to change their background.

Attraction from all students is most important than everything. Teacher's teaching methods used in the class should never be too depending on the text books only. But also involved video player method, discussion method, game method and role play method.


Teacher should able to know every students study styles and level of learning upon every end of each topic whether they master well with such topic or not. Otherwise, the teacher have to change the other teaching methods to them but never say give up to them. 

Teacher is the Hope for every Students.

Career Development Plan

Career Development Plan: I now as a student in UPSI would ready to face with all of the challenges on coming to prepare myself well with all the knowledge and experience gain here, becoming a successful teacher, transfer knowledge to my students, and continue my study to more higher level to improve myself become more better. Before I'd been chose to teach in any school, I'll open a tuition class to gain more experiences in order to give the best teaching methods to my students. Improving myself, improving my students also.

Chemistry is wide related to our life, to whole things in the earth, even the environment. In Sem 1, we have a subject called "SKI 3033" which learn about Environmental Chemistry. Any pollution, pollutants, effects, causes, and more details about environment knowledge can be learnt through this subject.
Alright, in this subject, we have to do one of the Assignment, which is Soil Presentation. We do in PowerPoint slides. Below are the PowerPoint we done for Soil Presentation. There're also video in the slides. May have a look.

In addition, to provide a better understanding and interesting presenting way, we had prepared several commonly six type of soil sample as a true touch, true visual looking while let the audience to listen to us when we present about the six common type of soil.



Besides... For this subject SKI 3013 ICT Chemistry, its also to be unavoidable to have assignments. Assignment are not to stress us, instead help us to streghtened our mind thinking and learn to organized our work properly.
We have totally one Coursework with five parts of Assignments to do. There are:

Assignment 1 is the forum that uploaded by Lecturer for us to discuss with each other. We had discussed a Forum ontitled ICT promote English use.





Assignment 2(a), I'd create a blogspots as my e-Portfolio. Included my personal information, Career Development Plan, Teaching Philosophy and so on. I record every reflections in every class about what I gained and what I learnt. Besides, my blogspots are full of information about Chemistry to be shared with others, Assignments, and every steps I done in this Sem. I also create online survey form about teaching and learning and try to get feedbacks from others.

Assignment 2(b), We are going to promote a product (Pop De Quese) by using different channels through blogspot, wix, watapps, wechat and so on. Our product are successfully sold to several customers. All our information will be updated in blogspot and Wix. We create our advertisement to be sent to every different channels to let them know our product. 





Assignment 3 is Peer teaching where we teach about Prezi Tools which are an Online Presentation Software. We use Prezi to do our Prezi Presentation. Every steps are shown detaily in the slides. We also teach on the spot to guide every students from creating Prezi account, until they can manage to use the Prezi well. Assignment 4 is Infusing ICT in lesson using 3E (Engage, Empower, Enhance). Our group choose the title "Acid and Base" which infusing video and image in teaching planning which all done in Microsoft Word nicely. Here are the link that can open to view our works done. Reflection of SKI 3013 lesson

Alright...11/11/2019.  It's went into next class of ICT Chemistry. We were going to learn totally two tools this day, which were Chemsketch and Quizziz.

As a Chemistry student, it's important to know how to use Chemsketch so that we can totally handle well with our future Chemistry Education works as well as doing our Chemistry Assignment and easier which increasing our works efficiency in quality in short time. Is a must to know that the works for a teacher is a lot, this is a need that the teacher should know how to do works in time with high quality. Here is the help of learning Chemsketch to help to form a molecule with correct shape, bond either view in 3D shape too.

For Quizziz, it is an online Quiz. It is useful for teacher to set questions to students. And it can know the level mastered by students on the spot through the results feedback. A teacher not only teaching, but have to know the ways to improve students' study level. Before this, a teacher have to know their level from each subtopic learnt. Thus, Quizziz is a tools that are very helpful to make attract students attention and attractive them by using this interesting Quizziz tool as well as know their standard.

Reflecions of SKI 3013 ICT CHEMISTRY lesson

In the next class lesson of SKI, I learnt how to handle moviemaker and youtube. That's now I just know that these tools make our works become more interesting and effective. These tools also help me a lot in doing another subjects assignment works.
Besides that, we learnt extra knowledge for how to create a puzzle crossword, which is preparing for doing assignment too. We could form this puzzle by go into URL: http://atozteacherstuff.com
Here are the example of Crossword Puzzle that I generated for my Assignment 4 about Mole Concept, Chemical Formula & Equation. And copy paste to microsoft word as a part of the assignment work.




Moviemaker is used to insert images and videos to be formed into a new edited video.
I apply it to other assignments and eventually give better effect to my works.



I can upload video done onto Youtube to be shared and watch by other people. In this lesson, I also learnt the shortcut way to download youtube videos by adding 'ss' in the front of 'youtube' in the link copied pasted. And download the videos wanted in different form like MP3, MP4 and so on at Youtube Converter. We have to create an own channel to upload the videos. We also go into socialblade to know the famous youtuber. Youtube is the channel for them to earn money. 


So, I learnt many that I never learnt before and gain many benefits from every SKI lessons.
